Sarah Rizk joins the firm’s property and development team from Page Seager Lawyers in the city. She was also formerly a principal at Sladen Legal.
Rizk has a particular focus on property acquisitions and disposals, property development and subdivisions, structuring advice, property related tax advice, and leasing matters. Her clients include landowners and investors, who she advises in commercial, industrial, and residential property matters.
The lawyer’s recent mandates include acting for the developer of one of the largest “new community broad-acre developments in Australia, Thomson Geer said. The project involved more than 7,000 dwellings, schools, shopping centres, and community facilities.
Adrian Tembel, the firm’s chief executive partner, said that Rizk will be working closely with partners Eu Ming Lim and Vicki Sharp.
“Sarah's project development practice focussing on emerging developers perfectly complements the Asian inbound project work and institutional client work undertaken by our existing team,” Tembel said.
