Thomson Geer has hired another partner from McCullough Robertson.

Adam Wallwork has been appointed partner in Sydney and reunites with fellow McCullough Robertson alumni Brett Hawkins, Justin Madden, and Michael Allen. Hawkins and Madden, who are both partners, and Allen, who is a consultant, moved to Thomson Geer along their team of special counsel, senior associates, and lawyers in July.

Wallwork is a specialist in procurement and construction law. He focuses on negotiating and administrating major construction, infrastructure, public-private partnerships, residential, power, transport, and facilities management and maintenance projects.

Wallwork’s hiring also comes after property law expert Michael Liebich was appointed partner by the firm in September. Liebich returned to Thomson Geer from MinterEllison.

“Adam, together with Brett, Justin and their team, further strengthens our capabilities in the national construction and property space,” said Adrian Tembel, the firm’s chief executive partner.
