Keypoint Law grows in Melbourne

Roland Burt has joined Keypoint Law in Melbourne as a consulting principal.

The construction and commercial litigation expert joins the firm after nearly five years as a partner at McKean Park. He is a former senior associate at Middletons Moore & Bevins, partner at Norton Gledhill and Mills Oakley, and principal at Macpherson + Kelley.

Warren Kalinko, Keypoint Law chief executive, said that Burt is a prized recruit.

“Roland’s appointment comes at an exciting time as we continue to grow our Melbourne presence. Roland is a well-regarded senior lawyer whose depth of expertise will enhance our commercial and construction offering, making him a valued addition to our team,” he said.

Burt brings with him more than 25 years’ experience in commercial and construction disputes. His practice covers a wide range of construction, subdivision, owners’ corporations, real estate, and trade matters.

He is an accredited commercial litigation specialist by the Law Institute of Victoria. He is also an accredited mediator by the Institute of Arbitrators & Mediators Australia.
