McCullough Robertson attracts insurance and corporate risk partner

McCullough Robertson has added a partner to its insurance and corporate risk team.

Stephen White commenced with the independent firm on 12 November, adding 20 years’ experience in insurance claims and policy interpretation disputes to the partnership. He made the move from Carter Newell, where he was a partner in the insurance group since 2007.

“Stephen’s breadth of knowledge of the insurance industry is invaluable.  He will work closely with existing insurance partner Brad Russell to provide support in the front end of the practice, and continue to grow our corporate insurance client base,” said Kristen Podagiel, McCullough Robertson managing partner.

White is an expert in insurance and commercial disputes, whose practice focuses on insurers and corporate clients. He is nationally recognised as a leading insurance lawyer and as a leading Queensland public and product liability lawyer.

The appointment follows the appointment of partners David Hughes and Melinda Peters in October. McCullough Robertson also grew its senior ranks in July with 12 promotions.
