Barry.Nilsson. continues Sydney expansion

Barry.Nilsson. has continued its expansion in Sydney with the addition of a new special counsel.

The firm has welcomed Carolyn Coventry to its insurance and health team. The new special counsel comes from Sparke Helmore, where she has been a special counsel for nearly four years.

She was also a partner at Verdanega Roberts Solicitors and a senior associate at DLA Piper.

Coventry has focused on insurance law since 2002. She is an experienced insurance litigator, who advises and acts for both domestic and foreign insurers, corporate self-insured, and public authorities in public and product liability, professional indemnity, and property matters.

Coventry’s arrival bolsters Barry.Nilsson.’s liability offering, the firm said.

Her appointment comes after the firm’s launch of a family law practice in Sydney. The firm also recently added senior associates in Melbourne and Brisbane.
