Lander & Rogers lands DibbsBarker partner

This insurance specialist’s rich experience should prove an asset to his new firm

Lander & Rogers lands DibbsBarker partner
Lander & Rogers has appointed Mark Lindfield as the newest corporate insurance partner in its Sydney corporate practice.

Lindfield joins Lander & Rogers from DibbsBarker, whose front-end insurance practice he established. He had been partner at Dibbs since 2013 after spending nearly three years as special counsel. He also spent 10 years helping to grow the non-contentious insurance practice at Allens.

With more than two decade’s experience, Lindfield’s areas of expertise include advising corporate clients, insurers, reinsurers, and intermediaries on insurance, indemnity, liability, acquisitions, restructuring, portfolio transfers, regulatory investigation and enforcement, licensing and compliance, and product development and new distribution channels.

Head of Lander & Rogers' corporate group, Jackie Solakovski, said Lindfield’s experience and knowledge of the insurance regulatory landscape support the firm's ongoing growth in the insurance and financial services sector.

Lisa Newcombe, joint head of the firm's insurance law and litigation practice, said Lindfield’s front-end insurance practice dovetails nicely with the firm’s general insurance practice. She said Lindfield is already well known by many of the firm’s clients.

Lander & Rogers, with offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, now has 63 partners, 19 special counsel, and 65 senior associates.
