Gadens has welcomed five new partners across its offices in Melbourne and Sydney.

The firm enhanced its workplace advisory and disputes team by adding Amanda Junkeer and Will Marshall to its partnership in Melbourne. Junkeer specialises in industrial and employee relations law. She comes in from Moores, where she headed up the workplace relations team, and has over two decades of experience.

She held workplace relations in-house counsel positions in an ASX-listed top 100 company as well as in the not-for-profit sector. She has tackled matters involving enterprise bargaining strategy, industrial disputation, payroll compliance remediation, complex award and enterprise agreements.

Junkeer has also managed disciplinary and termination processes, wage audits, and employment litigation. Moreover, she has appeared before the Fair Work Commission.

Marshall commenced with Gadens in 2021 as a senior associate. His background lies in employment law, employment litigation, and industrial relations. He has worked with HR and industrial relations advisors across the public sector, and has advised publicly listed and large privately owned businesses on workplace litigation.

Gadens also welcomed partners Jing Wang (disputes and investigations), John Kettle (corporate) and Kenneth Tang (banking and finance) to its Sydney branch. CEO Mark Pistilli confirmed that Wang and Kettle would “each head foreign desks designed to service inbound capital flows”.
