Thomson Geer elevates 3 to partner, 16 others to senior roles

Thomson Geer has elevated three to its partnership and 16 others to senior roles.

The firm’s new partners are Perth-based health and aged care specialist, Amber Crosthwaite; as well as Sydney-based capital markets and M&A specialist, Sanushka Seomangal, and dispute resolution expert, Jodi Walkom.

Thomson Geer now has 116 partners.

“These partner appointments recognise the significant contribution each of these lawyers has made to our firm, and their promotion will enable us to grow and strengthen these key practice areas, and deliver even greater value for our clients,” the firm said in a statement.

Thomson Geer has also promoted five to special counsel and 11 to senior associates across its offices in Australia.

The newest promotions round comes after the firm capped an “aggressive” fiscal year with a Perth acquisition. The firm also recently brought in an aged-care team, headlined by two new partners, in Brisbane.
