South Australia’s new Youth Justice Administration Act
allows young people to stay in home detention for a year, up from the six month maximum, with the option of curfews monitored by a 24-hour tracking device.
“We want to ensure that children and young people in the justice system are inspired to change,” said Youth Minister Zoe Bettison.
