Victorian boutiques merge

The merger bolsters the five practices of focus of the new firm

Victorian boutiques merge

Two Victorian boutique firms have merged to form a more formidable new firm.

Marshalls+dent, which was founded in 1975, and Wilmoth Field Warne, which was founded in 1869, have combined to form the new firm, marshalls+dent+wilmoth.

The combination has bolstered five practices of focus of the new firm.

“We are excited and pleased about this development,” said Euan Luff, Principal of Wilmoth Field Warne. “The new firm provides a strong commercial team, a substantially larger litigation team, an expanded family law team with accredited specialists, and of course, marshalls+dent’s renowned media and intellectual property arm.”

Jeffrey Pinch, principal of legacy marshalls+dent, said the merger was a natural fit.

“We have been watching the practice of Wilmoth Field Warne for a while. They are a strong firm of 18,” he said.

Pinch said that the Wilmoth Field’s ethos, areas of expertise, and client base complement and enhance marshalls+dent. Wilmoth Field focuses on commercial, including corporate and property, and commercial litigation. Its client base includes public and private companies, small-to-medium enterprises, and high-net-worth individuals.

The new firm has offices in Melbourne, Mornington, Williamstown, and Wodonga.
