Travers Smith is elevating four lawyers to the partnership in the firm's first ever all-women promotion round.

The new partners are experts in different fields and bolster the firm's dispute resolution, private equity, tax, and real estate practices.

Promoted to partner effective 1 July are Heather Gagen, Emma Havas, Hannah Manning, and Emma Pereira.

Senior partner Chris Hale said that the firm is excited to have its first-ever female cohort of new partners.

Gagen, who's part of the firm's dispute resolution practice, is a commercial litigator. She advises a broad range of clients, which includes corporates, banks, and private equity houses.

Havas, the firm's newest private equity partner, has vast experience in the mergers and acquisitions space. She has acted for institutional investors, management teams, and investee companies on a variety of investments and disposals.

Manning, who’s with the firm’s tax practice, specialises in tax matters on private equity transactions, including MBOs, sales, debt and equity restructurings, and management equity incentive arrangements.

Pereira, the newest real estate partner of the firm, acts for real estate funds and real estate private equity funds on high-value and complex investments, lettings, and developments. She has extensive experience in the retail, student accommodation, and logistics sectors.
