Thomson Geer helps clinch major SA development deal

Thomson Geer has advised Norman & Associates in its appointment as the manager of a major property and environment development in South Australia.

The company will now oversee the freeholding of 432 leasehold allotments in the development in the town of Fisherman’s Bay. The leaseholds were previously managed by Fisherman’s Bay Management.

Thomson Geer partner Fraser Bell led the firm’s team, with the support of law graduate Stephanie Fawcett.

Financial terms of the transaction are confidential.

The project’s planning approval requires the management of the provision of key infrastructure assets. Key elements of an ESCOSA license, which will cover proposed service arrangements, include wastewater collection and treatment, road sealing, stormwater drainage, and the construction of a seawall.

Ben Norman, Norman & Associates general manager, said that Thomson Geer will continue to contribute in the delivery of the project.
