These US BigLaw firms have the strongest client relationships
A couple dozen leading law firms in the US have been recognised as having the strongest client relationships in this year’s power rankings compiled by BTI Consulting.

For those unacquainted with the “BTI Power Rankings,” the annual report identifies which law firms are best positioned with the largest and most prestigious clients across 18 industries. This year’s report was compiled from 960 interviews from March 2015 to February 2017.

Among those in-depth telephone interviews, however, only a third of general counsel reported being in “clientopia,” which is defined by BTI as having go-to firms, which get the bulk of their organisation’s legal spend, that they also willingly recommend to peers.

The firms included in BTI’s “Clientopia 24” for 2017 are:
  1. Jones Day
  2. Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom
