Port Stephens will now benefit from a state-wide legal offering following a regional merger.
State-wide firm Carroll & O’Dea has expanded its Newcastle reach with a local firm-merger.
The 11-office-firm has merged with Fatches Lawyers in Port Stephens, a 30-year-old local firm.
“Carroll & O'Dea is committed to enhancing our already strong presence across NSW and our national reach,” Newcastle head partner David Jones told Australasian Lawyer.

The merger aligns with the firm’s strategic expansion into regional areas, providing metropolitan legal services.

Carroll & O’Dea is a dedicated regional firm, travelling regularly to regional and country areas.
“The merger will enable us to have a dedicated full time office in Port Stephens as well as strengthening our existing operation in Newcastle with the addition of the experienced and highly skilled Fatches team,” said managing partner Howard Harrison.
