New office and head for one of Australia’s fastest growing firms

People + Culture Strategies (PCS), a specialist workplace law firm that’s growing at a rate of knots, has just announced it has opened a new office in Melbourne.

The office, situated on Exhibition Street near the Fair Work Commission and the “Paris end” of Collins Street, has been fitted out to replicate the modern and innovative feel of PCS’ Sydney office in NAB House.

The Melbourne office is set to be headed up by Siobhan Mulcahy who has joined PCS as a director from Clayton Utz.

In making the announcement, founder and managing principal of PCS, Joydeep Hor, says the firm has had a remarkable growth journey since opening in July 2010.

“We are recognised nationally as the only holistic provider of legal and strategic solutions in the workplace relations space,” he says.

“Given one-third of our firm’s revenue comes from clients in Victoria, we felt it was high time to build a stronger presence in Melbourne. Siobhan is culturally ideal for what we are trying to do with our firm and its brand, not just in Melbourne but nationally.”

In addition to Hor and Mulcahy, PCS has three Directors, Kathryn Dent, Chris Oliver and Michelle Cooper, which lead its team of 25 staff.

Hor says the firm has been at the forefront of innovation in the area of pricing structure and the approach it has taken to building partnerships with its clients. He anticipates having offices in all major Australian cities within the next two or three years.

“We are actively servicing several hundred employers at any given point in time including some of the largest companies in the world. They have chosen to use us over competitors because of a unique value proposition and the commitment we have to our values,” he says.

Earlier this year PCS announced that it had entered into a three year naming rights sponsorship deal with the Greater Sydney Rams in the National Rugby Championship.
