Melbourne firms merge

Tisher Liner FC Law (TLFC) has confirmed that Warlows Legal will join the firm on 5 March.

“Merging with Warlows Legal is an exciting business venture which will bring to the firm strategically valuable construction, not-for-profit and digital law expertise,” TLFC principal Jonathan Tisher said.

TLFC also gains an established Sydney practice and a presence in Israel from the combination. The move allows the firm to consolidate its market presence to service emerging Australian technology and start-up clients, offering them insights into the Israel start-up environment.

The new additions bring the total number of lawyers of the firm to 24. The firm will have 70 staff. The merger also boosts the gender diversity of the firm’s principals with the appointment of Harriet Warlow-Shill as TLFC’s newest principal.

TLFC plans to utilise Warlows Legal’s expertise in the NewLaw market and expand into digital platforms, the firm said.

Warlows Legal’s Melbourne team includes managing partner Warlow-Shill and lawyers Didi Levin and Yoni Ungar. Allon Ledder leads the firm in Israel and senior associate Tiago Louzada is based in Sydney.
