Logie-Smith Lanyon appoints specialist to head up immigration practice

Full service commercial law firm Logie-Smith Lanyon has announced the appointment of accredited immigration law specialist Lily Ong to establish and head up the firm’s immigration practice.

Ong has over two decades of experience assisting individuals and businesses in immigration law, in addition to a background of over 30 years of commercial and property law experience. Her practice spans all aspects of immigration and provides sound legal advice and cultural understanding to foreign clients, particularly from the Asian-Pacific region. 

Andrew Logie-Smith, managing partner at Logie-Smith Lanyon, said Ong’s appointment will play a key role in developing the firm’s immigration practice and further enhancing its international links, particularly with China.

The firm’s immigration practice will include all aspects of Australian and international migration including independent applications, family migration, employer nominations, corporate and business sponsored temporary and permanent residence visas, business skills migration, general skilled migration, Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) appeals, and Federal and High Court referrals.
