Katharine H. Parker left the partnership at Proskauer Rose to don robes as part of the Southern District of New York’s federal bench.
The 49-year-old shows us that not only is she capable of chairing different practice groups at the BigLaw firm – such as its employment law counselling and training, government regulatory relations and affirmative action and hiring and background checks groups – she is also hilarious when she wants to be.
“I've really wanted to serve the greater justice system, and this was a good time. The opportunity opened up and I jumped,” she told the New York Law Journal
