LegalVision taps seasoned lawyer to boost Melbourne growth

LegalVision has appointed a seasoned lawyer to boost its growth in Melbourne.

Glen Pauline has been appointed by the NewLaw firm as disputes and litigation practice leader. He is an expert in employment law, franchising, competition and consumer law, industrial relations, and joint ventures.

Pauline said he is looking forward to working with a team that is making a real impact in the industry through in-house legal technology and client experience.

“Victorian business owners and decision-makers want to work with legal service providers that listen and respond to their changing needs,” he said.

Pauline brings to LegalVision more than 15 years’ experience as a barrister at the Victorian Bar. With the appointment LegalVision has doubled the size of its Melbourne office in a year.

Pauline is nationally accredited mediator and an alternative dispute resolution provider with organisations that include the Franchising Mediation Adviser and the Australian Small Business & Family Enterprise Ombudsman.

“Our Victorian client base continues to grow as we harness the learnings from servicing SMEs and apply them to ASX-listed businesses and enterprise companies. We’re always refining how we deliver legal services to focus exclusively on client satisfaction, especially in commercial litigation matters,” said Lachlan McKnight, LegalVision CEO.

“Glen will help ensure that we’re even better placed to offer that experience to Victorian based businesses, employers, franchisors and franchisees,” he said.

LegalVision said that growth in the state has been boosted by multinationals like Google and David Jones expanding in Melbourne.
