Lawyer believed to be Houston commuter gunman
A lawyer is the suspected gunman who injured at least nine people in Houston, Texas before being shot dead by police.
Although authorities have yet to officially name the suspect, media sources report that he was a local lawyer Nathan DeSai, whose black Porsche was searched by police following the incident.
ABC13 News reports that the lawyer’s behaviour was said by his landlord to have become increasingly erratic in recent months and Reuters says that the law firm that he had started with a partner closed six months ago. He was believed to be working from his apartment since then.
The shooting, which took place from the Porsche, involved two guns and 2,600 rounds of ammunition. The suspect was wearing a military uniform emblazoned with a swastika.

Hogan Lovells has launched a new portal to enable clients keep up with cybersecurity laws across multiple jurisdictions. The dedicated website called Ready Set Respond includes a diagnostic tool enabling clients to assess their preparedness for a cyber attack.
