Lavan appoints COO

Lavan has picked a seasoned executive to be its new chief operating officer.

The Western Australian firm has appointed Mario Pisano as COO, bringing in a senior executive with more than 25 years of finance, strategy, commercial and client management experience.

“Mario is very highly regarded. His operational and strategic experience is exceptional and he will provide valuable organisational support to advance Lavan’s commitment to service excellence and to our growth strategy,” said Dean Healy, Lavan managing partner.

Pisano, who will report to Healy, was most recently general manager of Emission Assessments, an independent environmental consultancy company.

He was previously chief financial officer at Peet Limited, general manager for finance at North West Shelf Joint Venture, and corporate planning manager at Woodside Petroleum. He has also held senior positions at Accenture in Perth and Melbourne, and in Grant Thornton and Horwath Perth Chartered Accountants.
