Lander & Rogers has recruited an experienced executive to be its head of technology.
Karen O'Connor has joined the firm, adding to the firm nearly two decades of experience in the technology industry. She has held leadership roles at IBM, Telstra, and Hewlett Packard, as well as consulted to clients including National Australia Bank, the Department of Health and Aged Care, and the Australian Taxation Office.
O’Connor is a client-focused technologist, who’s an expert in innovation, transformation, and digital enablement, Lander & Rogers said. She has been at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies, including eBusiness, eCommerce, and cloud computing.
“Deliberately appointed from outside of the legal sector, Karen brings an incredible amount of experience from a broad range of industries. She has demonstrated a strong capability for setting a strategic agenda, leading large technological transformations, and then implementing digital go-to-market models. This expertise will support Lander & Rogers as we continue our exciting digital transformation,” said Genevieve Collins, chief executive partner. "Karen will not only continue to overhaul our underlying technology, but will ensure that Lander & Rogers continues to have the right IT platforms and applications in place to service our clients in the best possible way.”
Lander & Rogers recently launched iHub, its standalone innovation function.
