In a post on LinkedIn, Caroline Sarson, a KWM graduate recruitment and development manager, confirmed that trainees of the failed EU arm of KWM “have now all found great firms to continue their legal careers with!” The future of the trainees was in limbo as KWM Europe, UK and Middle East was sinking late last year – but management of the EU business started looking for places for its trainees in December, according to a report by Legal Cheek.
According to a report from The Lawyer, at least 19 firms have confirmed that they are taking in KWM trainees. Here’s the list compiled by the publication, along with the number of trainees confirmed each firm is welcoming to their ranks:
Additionally, Stephenson Harwood and White & Case are said to be “talking to others” and “assessing future trainees,” respectively. The numbers tallied by The Lawyer add up to 50, which leaves only 10 or so trainees whose new homes are still unconfirmed.
