The magazine’s Hot 40
provides an insight into which lawyers have blazed an enviable path over 2013 and 2014. It remains a fascinating profile of where the industry is at and who is emerging as a dynamic player within it.
Australasian Lawyer editor Aidan Devine said that lawyers may be surprised by who made their way into the Hot 40.
“It wasn’t all about the big deals,” Devine said. “Many of the lawyers featured witnessed significant milestones, not just for their firm, but for the industry as a whole. Other lawyers were spearheading unique pro bono cases and doing ground-breaking work to reshape the industry.”
The Hot 40
includes lawyers from a variety of firms, ranging from those in boutique firms to mid-tier and top tier power players.
The listing was compiled through nominations made by legal peers, votes on the Australasian Lawyer website and an in-depth analysis of the 2013-14 deals environment.
It compliments a strong magazine offering that also includes a profile of an Australian lawyer based in Myanmar who is forging a path for multinational companies to invest.
There is also commentary from in-house counsel at a major energy and resources company, explaining future legal opportunities in the sector, and additional round ups of significant deals and appointments.
These and many more stories are showcased in Australasian Lawyer’s new issue, hitting firms and in-house counsel teams soon.
It is finally here. Australasian Lawyer has released its launch print edition, which includes a landmark profile of the hottest talent in the legal industry.
