Gadens has combined its legal and technology knowledge to create a new suite of online tools.

Gadens Portfolio Solutions (GPS) is a collection of business-to-business legal-analysis and management tools for advanced conducting and management of legal workflows. The GPS suite, which the firm says will continuously be improved and evolved, covers national needs of clients in the property and financial services industries.

The suite includes GPS Leasing, which digitises retail, commercial, and industrial leasing processes, as well as GPS Lending for loan document preparation and GPS Recoveries for managing debt-recovery processes. The firm also expects to launch GPS Settlements, an online conveyancing settlement system for property developers, in the coming months.

Grant Scott-Hayward, Gadens chief executive, said that the new suite is an example of how its people come up with ideas that enhance outcomes for its clients.

“Many of our property and financial services clients, for example, use GPS on a daily basis as an intuitive interface for managing legal matters, analysing portfolio performance, managing potential risks and identifying trends across the country,” he said.

He said that the new tools offer clients benefits such as access to real-time information the status of legal matters, proactive management of portfolios, better alignment of processes, document exchange, trend analyses, live reporting and customised reports.

All of these support a high-quality, cost-effective legal service in a secure environment, he said, with the added benefit of these all being done electronically, which further reduces the cost of doing business.
