Coleman Greig Lawyers has brought in a seasoned director to help the firm gear up for growth.
Andrea Galloway has joined the firm’s board as non-executive director. She brings to the role more than 35 years’ governance experience in a wide range of sectors, including technology, housing, and professional services.
“The firm’s Board of Directors is incredibly excited by this recent appointment,” said Warrick McLean, Coleman Greig chief executive.
“Andrea brings a wealth of leadership experience to the table with a background largely focused on people and culture – two aspects of the organisation that we take incredibly seriously here at Coleman Greig,”
The firm also said that it expects to appoint a second non-executive director, with a particular focus on technology and innovation, in the coming year. The appointment is part of the firm’s active expansion plan in the region, which it said it is pursuing organically and through acquisitions.
Galloway looks forward to using her professional experience to help with the next phase of the firm’s growth within the greater Western Sydney region.
“I have long been an admirer, both of what Coleman Greig is doing and has done for Western Sydney, so I was immediately attracted by the opportunity to contribute to their continued success as an innovative and progressive contributor to the greater Western Sydney community and beyond,” she said.
The new director is currently also managing director of Evolve Housing. She is also part of the board of Defence Housing Australia and the Salvation Army advisory board. She was previously president and CEO of Spherion Asia Pacific, vice president of Lucent Technologies Asia Pacific, managing director of AT&T Australia, and regional director of AT&T Easylink Services Asia Pacific.
Galloway joins the board as non-executive director Peter Jollie AM is set to retire from the board next month. Coleman Greig paid tribute to Jollie for his “valuable contribution to supporting the firm’s strategic growth over the past six years, and for bringing great wisdom and experience to the role.”
