Clarendon Lawyers acted as the law firm of choice for the founders of a Melbourne-based technology and cloud consulting company, which was been sold in a cross-border deal.
Clarendons advised the founders of Brave New World consulting (BNW) on the company’s sale to a wholly owned subsidiary of SoftwareONE. Tony Simons, managing director, led the Clarendons team, which included senior associate Adam Laidlaw and graduate Ashlee Maywald.
BNW, which was founded in 1996, specialises in SAP platform transformation and migration to public cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platforms, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services. It serves clients in Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, and the US.
SoftwareONE, which is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, is a global provider of end-to-end software and cloud technology services. Headquartered in Switzerland, the company has a presence in 90 countries and serves about 65,000 clients.
Symons said that the deal presents BNW an opportunity to expand its services to the global market. The firm said that Arnold Bloch Leibler and EY advised SoftwareONE.
