Bartier Perry boosts property team with new special counsel

Bartier Perry has boosted its property team with the appointment of special counsel Natasha Zusman,

The senior lawyer brings with her more than two decades’ of experience in property in private practice and in-house teams. She also has extensive experience in general commercial, corporate, and M&A matters.

She was a senior corporate lawyer at Metcash for more than 10 years. She later became national business development manager in the property department of the wholesale distributing giant.

Melissa Potter, Bartier Perry head of property, said Zusman’s commercial experience will provide valuable insight to clients.

“Natasha brings experience that complements our specialisations in the FMCG and university sector,” Potter said.

Bartier Perry appointed senior associate Sharon Levy in April to strengthen its commercial disputes practice. The commercial-law focused firm appointed CEO Riana Steyn in February, under a flexible working arrangement.

Zusman is the eighth special counsel at Bartier Perry. The Sydney-based firm has 25 partners.
