Barry.Nilsson. is expanding its flagship insurance and health law practice with the appointment of Fiona Brady as its newest principal.

Brady is known for her work in compulsory third-party (CTP) claims, with a particularly strong reputation in time limitation, nervous shock, and catastrophic injury matters. She also works on hospital-based medical negligence matters and coronial enquiries.

Brady, who is based in Adelaide, brings to the firm more than 25 years’ experience as a lawyer. She moves from Finlaysons, where she was a partner.

“We have already achieved a strong reputation in the market for CTP, and Fiona’s specialist expertise dovetails perfectly with our Adelaide offering,” said Bronwyn Ackland, South Australia principal.

Don Leembruggen, Barry.Nilsson. managing director, said that the appointment shows the firm’s focus on recruiting talented and client-focused professionals.

Barry.Nilsson., which completed its national expansion last year with the opening of a Perth office, is known for its insurance and health, family law, and property and commercial practices. It recently grew its family law practice with the addition of two lawyers in Brisbane.
