Hamilton Locke has gained a seasoned lawyer from a national firm.
The Sydney firm has appointed Brad Allen as partner. He joined from Gadens in Sydney, where he moved last year after the closure of DibbsBarker, where he was also a partner. He was also previously a partner at Clayton Utz.
Allen is a specialist in banking and finance law with more than 15 years of experience acting for financiers and major corporations on a wide range of matters, including syndicated, leveraged, property, and debt financing.
“Brad is a strong addition to our banking and finance team and his appointment further increases our corporate finance offering. Brad’s experience includes having acted for clients in relation to their debt facilities, syndicated and bilateral financiers providing facilities to some of Australia’s major retailers and also financial services clients in relation to various secured facilities,” said Nick Humphrey, Hamilton Locke managing partner.
Allen boosts the firm’s partnership in Sydney to nine. His arrival comes after the firm’s recent appointments of partners Patricia Paton, Mayank Gupta, and John Frangi.
Hamilton Locke, which was established in early 2018, was recently recognised in Australasian Lawyer’s 2019 Innovative Law Firms list.
