Ashurst’s former global IT chief resurfaces at magic circle firm
Bruna Pellicci, the former global IT director at Ashurst, is joining Linklaters as its chief technology officer.

She left Ashurst after a decade in technology roles earlier this year and will be starting her new job at Linklaters on Monday 5th November, reporting to global COO Matt Peers.

Her experience prior to joining Ashurst included roles at legacy firms Pennington and Nabarro.

Teams from Herbert Smith Freehills in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Moscow have advised Norilsk Nickel (Nornickel) on a long-term supply deal with German battery giant BASF.

BASF plans to open its first battery materials production site for the European automotive market in late 2020 and Nornickel will supply nickel and cobalt from its adjacent metals refinery.

The HSF teams advising Nornickel included lead partner Danila Logofet (energy); supported by senior associates Mark Veitch and Oxana Koerner, with assistance of associate Yulia Turkina, on the commercial aspects, of counsel Justin Vaughan, senior associate Stefan Kecman and associate Lauren Long on corporate aspects, as well as partner Mark Jephcott and senior associate Adelaide Luke on competition law.

Kennedys expands EMEA region with association in Israel
Kennedys has announced is association with Zelichov, Ben-Dan, & Co. in Israel.

The two firms have been working together for more than 10 years and the formal association marks an expansion in the EMEA region for global firm Kennedys.

“Our association with trusted friends at Zelichov, Ben-Dan & Co enables us to provide our global clients with strong litigation and dispute resolution services in Israel and focus on local as well as cross-border insurance coverage issues and claims defence work," commented Ben Aram, partner and head of Kennedys’ Israel desk.
