Ashurst to lose real estate and projects heavyweight

by |

King & Wood Mallesons has succeeded in laterally hiring top infrastructure lawyer Chris Mitchell, who is currently the head of Ashurst’s Australian infrastructure practice.

Mitchell, who is Sydney-based and won't leave Ashurst for some months, was headhunted by K&WM as the firm seeks to cement its expertise on high profile and complex projects.

With a history advising both public and private sector clients, Mitchell has been involved in major transport infrastructure projects, PPP projects, large scale residential developments, urban redevelopment programs, commercial leasing and joint ventures.

Mitchell will join a team that includes King & Wood Mallesons’ managing partner of projects, Scott Gardiner, and national head of real estate, Stuart Dixon-Smith.
