70 promoted to senior posts at Clayton Utz

Clayton Utz has promoted 70 lawyers in its latest senior promotions round.

The firm has 24 new special counsel, while 46 have been promoted to senior associate.

“Our new senior associates and special counsels are all talented and committed lawyers who have made significant contributions to the firm and our clients, and are very deserving of their promotions,” said Kate Jordan, deputy chief executive partner for people and development.

“These are the future leaders of our firm and we are looking forward to seeing them continue to stretch their leadership capabilities and flourish in their new roles,” she added.

Recently, Clayton Utz recruited partner Andrew Steele and his team from Norton Rose Fulbright, where he was joint head partner in Sydney.
