18 lawyers ascend to senior posts at Allens

Allens has promoted 18 lawyers to senior associate, boosting six practice groups of the firm.

“Each of these lawyers has demonstrated that they have the skills and experience to take their careers to the next level. They all have a critical role to play in the future success of our firm,” said Richard Spurio, Allens managing partner.

The firm’s promotions judged are based on matter leadership, legal specialisation, and client relationship, Allens said.

Seven of the newly appointed senior associates come from the firm’s disputes and investigations practice. The corporate and intellectual property groups also have three each.

The lawyers who will become senior associates on 1 January are:
