Karen Yuan is a senior associate in the Sydney real estate team and has experience across a broad range of property matters involving property acquisitions and disposals, property development work, commercial, retail and industrial leasing. She also assists corporate clients with commercial and retail leasing needs, including managing the property aspects of renewable energy projects such as wind and solar farms and due diligence on mergers and acquisitions. In 2019, Yuan was invited to participate in the Property Council of Australia 500 Women in Property program. The annual sponsor-based program assists in developing the skills of those within the property industry. Through face-to-face meetings, creating personal development plans and attending industry events, the participants develop the skills necessary to succeed in their chosen field. Additionally, Yuan has also presented at the K&L Gates CPD Day for clients on the recent changes to the Strata legislation in relation to the collective sale and redevelopment of strata schemes.
