The past year for Hannah Catherine Morris has been nothing short of fulfilling. She’s achieved some of her long-term career goals which include being promoted to senior associate as a fourth-year lawyer; being named winner in Lawyers’ Weekly’s ‘30 Under 30 2018’ for Real Estate and Construction; being shortlisted as a finalist in the Australasian Law Awards’ ‘Young Private Practitioner of the Year (30 or Under) 2019’ category; and working as a lead solicitor in the team that was named Goodman’s ‘Law Firm of the Year 2019’. The last 12 months have seen Morris be involved in high-calibre work for a number of blue-chip clients. For instance, she acted on LOGOS’ $119 million acquisition of 100% of the units in the ARE Truganina Trust, the sole asset of which was Kmart’s Distribution Centre in, Truganina, Victoria; and acted as lead solicitor (supporting partner Tim L’Orange) on Blackstone's disposal campaigns for just under half a billion dollars’ worth of assets across a number of jurisdictions.
