Haack, who has over 23 years of experience working in blue-chip organisations and first tier law firms across the globe, is responsible for leading Orica’s global legal and ethics and compliance teams, with over 25 professionals plus support staff based across Australia, Asia, North America, Latin America and EMEA. As part of his strategy to make improvements within his team, Haack has implemented a transformational change program that is focused on five main areas: aligning the team with Orica’s businesses; developing a culture of well-being; right skilling them; focusing on priority tasks; and improving the management of cost and time within the team. Under his guidance, Orica has successfully achieved reductions in cost year on year for the past three years.
