Neville Hourn + Bourg Legal (NHB Legal) holds team meetings every Monday so that each person can sharing their goal(s) for the week, court dates and administrative tasks.

The firm is proud to have its door open to everyone. For example, its youngest employee is 18 and the eldest is 75. When there are occasions to celebrate, the firm makes sure that the entire team is involved and that no one feels excluded.

 Fruit is delivered every Monday for the team as well as fresh water for the cooler. NHB Legal often has fitness challenges with each other which are tracked on each team member’s smart phones. Everyone at the firm understands the issues concerning mental health and allows days off for those suffering from it with no questions asked.

Incentives for task completion i.e. the reward for reaching the firm’s goal of 3,000 on its database is a day out white watering rafting together. Generous Christmas presents are always given to the employees as well as bonuses throughout the year for billing goals achieved. The directors also take the team members out for lunches and after work drinks (their shout!). Emails are always sent around to congratulate staff on any recent wins or good news.
