Holding Redlich

Holding Redlich
Australia’s Employer of Choice 2019

Holding Redlich’s Learning and Development team arranges a broad range of external and internal training to support all employees, including a multiday induction program for new starters, interactive workshops on cultural awareness in all four offices, and bespoke development programs for each practice group during lunchtimes once a month or every two months.

Continuous professional development outside the workplace is also strongly encouraged. Its External Work-related Training and Education Policy entitles employees to attend and have work related seminars, workshops, conferences – all paid for. Graduate lawyers who are completing practical legal or supervised legal training are eligible to apply for leave of up to 20 days each year to attend courses and prepare for and attend examinations. Financial assistance for tertiary education is also available to those who are qualifying for legal practice in Australia. The firm also pays for all practicing certificate renewals and Law Society or Institute memberships.

Holding Redlich is a member of Women on Boards, hosting panel events for the organisation which clients and employees are invited to attend. This year, the firm was awarded its 11th Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation from the Federal Government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency. It also received its first win in the Law Practice category for the 2019 Charter for the Advancement of Women in the Legal Profession Awards from The Law Society of NSW.
