Madgwicks makes senior appointments

Madgwicks has welcomed Sazz Nasimi to the partnership and elevated Jen Severn to senior associate.

The two senior appointments come from the litigation and property groups of the firm. Nasimi is an expert in commercial disputes, including complex and large-scale disputes in the state and federal levels, and insolvency.

“Sazz’s promotion reflects our commitment to acknowledging the skills and attributes of individuals who seek to make a difference and make an outstanding contribution to the firm and our clients,” said Peter Kennedy, managing partner.

Nasimi has been with the firm’s litigation team since 2011. His wide range of clients includes liquidators, corporations, individuals, landlords, tenants, and directors.

Severn moved to the firm in January from Thomson Geer, where she was a lawyer. She has a focus on property law, with experience in complex transactions, including greenfield developments, industrial and residential property transactions, and rural sales and acquisitions.

The business-focused Melbourne firm now has 15 partners, six special counsel, and seven senior associates. It promoted Jaclyn Tang and Michelle Veitch, who are part of the property team, to senior associate in June.
