Maddocks pitches in on $30m capital raising by AUCloud

Maddocks has guided ASX-listed Sovereign Cloud Holdings Limited (AUCloud) on its recent $30m capital raising.

The firm said that the funds are intended to support AUCloud’s acquisition of three companies which will generate a platform for a scaled enterprise in the cloud and cyber security sector. The companies to be acquired are cyber security consultancy PCG Cyber; Venn IT Solutions, a managed services provider catering to industries such as mining, financial services, education, and distribution; and Arado, which offers cloud and managed services to the agriculture, health, and resources sectors.

Maddocks’ team advised on both the capital raising and the acquisitions under the leadership of corporate partner Catherine Merity and capital markets partner Rosamond Sayer. They were supported by senior associates Tanja Maley and Scott Hunt; associate Laura Cooke; and lawyer David Williamson.
