A property investor has acquired two assets and raised capital with the help of a top law firm.

HWL Ebsworth advised Centuria on the acquisition of two industrial property assets for $42.3m in Victoria and Queensland. It also advised on the associated $70m capital raising by Centuria Industrial REIT.

For the Victorian acquisition, the HWL Ebsworth team was headed partner David Marriott and senior associate Rupert Lugo. They were assisted by law graduate Adele Carrubba and solicitor Nathaniel Leong.

The team that handled the property acquisition in Queensland was headed by special counsel Craig Willey, with support from associate Julie Hidalgo.

Partners James Lonie and Grant Hummel in Sydney led on the capital raising.
