HopgoodGanim Lawyers has expanded its real estate team, adding a senior lawyer in Brisbane.

Ivan Orola has joined the firm as a special counsel. He moved from the Queensland Investment Corporation, where he was a legal adviser. HopgoodGanim said that the appointment bolsters the firm’s reputation in the real estate sector, with a team that has the depth and size to handle the largest projects.

The appointment comes after the firm added another special counsel in September. The firm also made a record number of promotions in July
