Hogan Lovells expands energy transition capabilities with new partner hire in Washington DC

Hogan Lovells has welcomed Michael Bonsignore to the corporate and finance practice group in Washington DC.

Joining from Clifford Chance, Bonsignore’s experience covers a broad range of corporate, M&A, and project development work, principally in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He has placed clean energy, energy transition, and infrastructure work at the heart of his practice, representing a mix of US and international sponsors, investors, financing parties, and developers.

Bonsignore’s arrival further enhances other recent appointments to the firm’s global energy transactions team in London, Germany, and Singapore.

In his new role, Bonsignore represents companies, private equity and infrastructure funds, sponsors, developers, and investors in connection with their transactional activities, including M&A, dispositions, joint ventures, project financings, project development, and reorganizations.
