Dentons dynamic duo remains for another 3 years

Two of the key architects of Dentons fast and wide global expansion will remain in their management roles for another three years.

Global chairman Joseph Andrew and global CEO Elliot Portnoy have held their roles since the firm was formed from a three-way merger in 2013.

Having guided the firm to the world’s largest with more than 9,600 lawyers in 174 locations across 78 countries, the pair have also overseen innovations including the Dentons Nextlaw Labs, Nextlaw Referral Network, and Nextlaw In-House Solutions.

In a statement the duo, re-elected unopposed, said:

“We are as energized and engaged today as when we started and look forward to realizing our partners’ shared passion around providing clients with the deepest, most experienced and most diverse global pool of lawyers available. As a polycentric law firm, Dentons is proud of its diversity in culture, gender, ethnicity and viewpoints. We look forward to continuing to lead Dentons and increasing our global brand and reputation as the law firm that is innovating most to best serve clients in the future.”
