Western Sydney’s Coleman Greig Lawyers has appointed Adam West as its newest family law principal. The accredited family law specialist joins from Slater & Gordon, where he was principal for more than two years

He has more than a decade’s worth of experience, specialising in complex family law matters that includes property disputes, parenting arrangements and recovery applications. He has acted for clients before the Family Court of Australia; the Federal Circuit Court; Local, District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales; and the Social Security Appeals Tribunal.

West has previously spent seven years as a co-director at Cox West Lawyers in Penrith. He started his career as a solicitor at Astley Thompson Cox (later Cox Lawyers) in 2003.

He has also sat on the Legal Aid Commission of NSW Panel for Family Law Solicitors, representing clients who receive legal aid funding, and has done pro bono work through the Hawkesbury Nepean Legal Centre.

West joins Coleman Greig Lawyer’s family law team, which has almost doubled in size since 2015, from the firm’s two offices in Parramatta-CBD and Norwest Business Park.
