DLA Piper snags last O'Melveny & Myers Singapore partner
DLA Piper has confirmed that it has hired O'Melveny & Myers’ last Singapore-resident partner.
 
Nathan Bush has joined DLA Piper’s Litigation and Regulatory practice in Singapore as Head of Investigations for Asia and Head of Antitrust and Competition for Asia.
 
Bush is a dispute’s specialist whose practice focuses on internal investigations, regulatory proceedings and compliance counseling involving anti-bribery and anticorruption laws.
 
He began his career in Washington, DC, then practiced in China for eight years. He began working in Singapore in 2013. Bush joined O’Melveny in 2001, according to The American Lawyer, and became a partner in 2009.
 
He was initially splitting his time between Beijing and Singapore but settled in the latter in 2014. He has advised clients in diverse industries, including financial services, life sciences, technology, media, and consumer goods, on matters spanning China, India, Korea, Japan, and the ASEAN region.

Apart from his American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore role, he was previously General Counsel and Legal Committee Chairman with the American Chamber of Commerce in China. 
 
He received is JD from Harvard Law School, and clerked for the Hon. Leonie Brinkema in the Eastern District of Virginia.  He is a member of the DC Bar.
