Top firms continue capital-raising work for client with $303m offer

Arnold Bloch Leibler (ABL) and King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) continued their work for longstanding client Nufarm, this time working on the company’s latest pro rata accelerated renounceable entitlement offer (PAITREO) of the crop protection products maker.

ABL acted for Nufarm, while KWM advised the joint lead managers of the offer that raised about $303m from the offer. Sullivan & Cromwell acted as US legal counsel for Nufarm.

The ABL team included partners Jonathan Wenig and Jeremy Lanzer; lawyers Emma Ferguson, Jessica Spring, Luke Jedynak, Simone Gould, and Anna Sandiford; law graduates Anthony Hadjiantoniou and Michelle Ainsworth; and paralegal Noah Lipshut.

The KWM team was led by partner David Friedlander, special counsel Amanda Isouard, and solicitor Henry Sit.

Isouard said that this is the second time that KWM has acted for joint lead managers on a PAITREO for Nufarm. The global firm acted on Nufarm’s $446m last year.

Earlier this year, ABL confirmed that it was the legal counsel of Nufarm on its US$475m cross-border debt raising.
