Seasoned IP star Natasha Burns has been brought in to helm Allenstrade mark practice.

Having started her legal career with the firm, she returned as a recent addition to the partnership of the IP, patent, and trade mark attorneys team.

“We are thrilled to welcome Natasha back to Allens, where she started her career, to lead our trade mark offering. She brings with her more than 20 years of experience in both large and boutique firms across Australia and the US”, Allens IP practice group leader Miriam Stiel said.

A registered trade marks attorney qualified to practise in both Australia and the US, Burns has acted for major corporations in the sports, food and beverage, big data, oil and energy, automotive, and healthcare sectors. She logged as a stint as a partner at New York firm Abelman Frayne & Schwab before establishing her own firm, Burns IP.

She will lead Allens’ trade mark practice from Melbourne.
