Law Squared named Melbourne Symphony Orchestra's international legal partner

Law Squared has entered into a watershed partnership with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO) that sees the firm become the MSO’s international law firm partner.

Over the two-year partnership, the firm will provide legal counsel to the MSO.

The partnership is set to “drive new audiences, connections and brand engagement” in Australia and the UK, Law Squared said in its press release. The team-up was announced during a musical performance and luncheon in London, in line with the MSO’s tour announcing its partnership with the Royal Academy of Music.

At the launch event, Law Squared founder and director Demetrio Zema said, “We are honoured to join the MSO as its international legal partner. As a champion of classical music, Law Squared and the MSO share a passion for dedicated practice, exceptional performance, and cross-cultural understanding.”

Zema confirmed that the firm would be working together with the MSO’s executive, management, artists, and musicians. MSO managing director Sophie Galaise pointed to Law Squared’s track record of linking and backing Australian businesses in the UK since it opened doors in London last year – a track record that she said made the firm an “ideal partner” to widen the orchestra’s reach to a new generation of young professionals.

The MSO was the first Australian orchestra to tour internationally.
